Windy Hill Sweets
In 2007, our family moved from the big city onto a windy hill sitting halfway between Houston and Austin in South Central Texas.
As is typical of rural life, I became involved in lots of projects and tried new things, but I've been drawn back to baking again and again. As owner of Windy Hill Sweets, I create Custom Sugar Cookies that delight the senses and add joy to celebrations.
I work with you to create Custom Sugar Cookies - your ideas, sketches or internet finds are welcome. Dough flavors options include Almond, Chocolate, and Vanilla Bean. Gluten-Free cookies are available in Vanilla Bean. Pricing varies based on size of cookies and design details. PLEASE NOTE: My minimum order is one dozen cookies. I do request a two week lead time for order preparation. If your event is in less than two weeks, please call 979-255-6498 to see if I can make your deadline. Orders are for pick up or delivery only - I cannot ship orders.

Cookie recipes are not rocket science. But, a great recipe is the start of a wonderful experience! My recipes originate from creations I found at Haniela's and LilaLoa. Both of these sites are chock full of exciting recipes and baking tips and tricks.
Windy Hill Sweets is a home bakery business that operates under the Texas Cottage Food law. I maintain current Food Handler's licensing as well as business insurance. WHS is not subject to inspection by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.
Important Note: All cookies are created in a gluten/nut friendly kitchen. Every attempt to prevent cross-contamination is made, but I do not recommend consuming my Gluten-Free cookies if the gluten allergy/intolerance is severe or has been diagnosed as celiac.
